Please be advised that Briggs Marine (on behalf of Ossian Offshore Wind Farm Ltd) will be undertaking benthic sampling and drop-down video operations within the corridor identified in this Notice to Mariners (NtM)

Please refer to Figure 1, that shows the location of the corridor along with planned sample locations. Table 1 overleaf lists the sampling coordinates for the survey.

Benthic sampling and drop-down video operations will take place between 3rd and 31st May (weather permitting) starting at the Lincolnshire coast working north.

Work Description

During operations, the Forth Constructor will be restricted in ability to manoeuvre. The vessel will perform survey operations at planned positions detailed in this NtM. Operations will be conducted over 24 hours and are weather/tide dependent.

Should any vessel wish to come within 500m of the vessels, then direct communication with the Master / Operator is required.  The vessels will display the appropriate lights/day shapes for their operations.

Benthic Operations will work around fishing gear, fishing vessel operators will not be requested to remove gear.
