As an offshore wind farm project, based approximately 84km off the east coast of Scotland, Ossian can play a vital part of the UK’s drive to net-zero and creating greater energy security for everyone.
Ossian is fully committed to listening and engaging with the local community throughout the onshore and offshore development process and will be providing regular updates to all.
We have already proactively commenced offshore consultation with Statutory stakeholders and preparations are underway for wider engagement in the coming months. Local communities and local businesses are part of our proactive engagement plan, we will ensure that regular updates are provided, as well as having a point of contact defined for enquiries.

Ossian Energise is a programme dedicated to fostering growth in skills, employability, education, research, and innovation through strong partnerships with local communities, industry and academia.
Through coordination with academic institutions and the supply chain, the programme will explore innovative technologies and support research key to renewable energy, including advancements in floating offshore wind technology. We’re focused on building links with industry to create initiatives that will help secure a skilled workforce for the future.
We’ll work closely with local communities as vital stakeholders in the project’s success. By partnering with residents on community initiatives, the programme aims to demonstrate the long-term benefits of renewable energy projects.
